Cookie Policy

We use a few cookies and browser storage entries, all needed to run the service or to remember your choices. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Version 1.0, in effect from 25 October 2026

This is a draft awaiting legal review. It describes how Scholarix works today and may change before the public launch.

Cookies

  • Session (scx_rt): keeps you signed in. Our API sets it; page scripts can't read it, and it is sent only to the sign-in service. It lasts until you close the browser, or up to 90 days if you choose “Remember me”.
  • Signed-in marker (scx_session): tells the app that you have a session, so that private pages can send you to sign in before they load. It holds no personal data and lasts up to 90 days.
  • Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers the language you chose, for up to a year.

Browser storage

The app also keeps a few settings in your browser's storage: your theme, sidebar and list preferences, the workspace you used last, the page to return to after signing in, and unsent drafts. Signing in with Google or Microsoft keeps a one-time code there until the sign-in finishes. The website keeps only your theme. None of this is sent to third parties.

Third parties

Our sign-in, sign-up and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. For this check, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and its network address. We don't load advertising, social media or analytics scripts.

Your choices

These cookies are needed for the service to work, so we don't ask for consent to them. You can delete them in your browser's settings; you will then be signed out and your choices reset. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
